Dr. Shahriar Pirouz is triple board-certified in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Internal Medicine, and a co-founder of Gold Coast Pain and Wellness Center. He trained at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and has practiced interventional pain management on California's Central Coast for more than ten years. His clinical work spans image-guided epidural and joint injections, medial branch blocks and radiofrequency ablation, sympathetic and peripheral nerve blocks, and spinal cord stimulation — paired with conservative care, careful medication management, and coordination with the rest of a patient's care team. He built Gold Coast Pain and Wellness Center to bring an exceptional level of care to the central coast —the same community his own family calls home.
Dr. Schuyler Rockwood is a fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist and co-founder of Gold Coast Pain and Wellness Center. Having recently completed specialized fellowship training in interventional pain medicine, Dr. Rockwood brings up-to-date expertise in modern, minimally invasive techniques, evidence-based therapies, and state-of-the-art procedures. His clinical scope encompasses image-guided epidural and joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, peripheral nerve blocks, and neuromodulation strategies—complemented by conservative care, functional restoration, and collaborative multidisciplinary management. Dr. Rockwood co-founded Gold Coast Pain and Wellness Center to deliver modern, compassionate, and personalized pain care to the Central Coast community.
